United Way of Greater Niagara Announces 2024 Agencies

Sanborn, New York, 1/10/24 – United Way of Greater Niagara has officially announced which agencies will be receiving support from our Community Care fund this year.

We are proud to share that our Community Care Committee has selected the following agencies serving local youth to receive funding in 2024: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northtowns, Community Missions of Niagara Frontier, Immaculata Home, the Kenan Center, Native American Community Services of Niagara and Erie Counties, Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club, Niagara Aquarium Foundation, Northpointe Council, Pinnacle Community Services, The Salvation Army Corps of Lockport, Niagara Falls and the Tonawandas, Western New York Scout Council, Youth Mentoring Services, and YWCA of the Niagara Frontier. Representatives from these agencies (pictured above with UWGN President/CEO Andrea Gray) met today to discuss programming and plans for the upcoming year.

It is important to note that although these are the agencies that receive Community Care Funds this year, United Way of Greater Niagara also offers financial support to many other local agencies through other sources, such as the Martha Beeman Foundation and the federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program, which offer grants for youth development and the needs of hungry and homeless people in our community, respectively.
